Storum Ranch Fig Balsamic Onion Tart

For the 2022 Sip of Julian, our first time participating, we wanted to showcase the range of what we have to offer at Storum Ranch. We selected our GoldRush cider and our 2020 Sangiovese Rosé to give SIPers a choice of cider or wine, and we collaborated with North of 72 Baking Studio to develop the recipe for a paired bite featuring our Mission Fig Dark Balsamic Vinegar. The result is essentially a sweet savory onion jam tart perfect to serve as an appetizer, or alongside salad for a light summer meal.
