CIDER MENU

Our ciders are made exclusively from the apples we grow at Storum Ranch. We have 2500 trees in 60 different varieties, and we hand-pick the fruit only when it is ripe. Our ciders are all traditional style ciders, fermented to dry and never any sugar added.

BOTTLED CIDERS

HEWE’S CRAB
2023 harvest | 9.8% ABV

Our 2023 harvest was exceptionally bountiful, and this cider is made entirely from the crop our 140 Hewe’s Crabapple trees produced. This cider has a beautiful, clear golden color with medium body and very soft acid. It has mild tannins and is nicely refreshing with a light fruity citrus finish. We recommend serving lightly chilled.

BITTER WICKSON BLEND
2023 harvest | 9.5% ABV
We used 55% Wickson along with a blend of several bittersharp and bittersweet apples varieties, including Dabinett, to produce this gorgeous, pale gold cider. Allow this cider to come to room temperature for its flavors and aromas to fully open. It has light acid and a delicate body that is round and soft on the palate with a note of butterscotch and cinnamon and a mellow, melon finish. Try pairing with seared scallops. We recommend serving near room temperature.

REDFIELD-DABINETT
2023 harvest | 8.2% ABV
We blended 70% Redfield and 30% Dabinett to create this clean, easy drinking cider. The Dabinett is renowned for high quality bittersweet juice, and the beautiful red flesh of the Redfield imparts a rosy hue. The result is a clean, easy drinking still cider. Pleasantly tart up front, but finishes with a light, creamy body that hints at cherry and vanilla. We recommend serving lightly chilled.

HARRISON
2023 harvest | 10.8% ABV
The Harrison apple was one of the most famous 18th-century American cider apples and extensively grown throughout the Eastern United States, most particularly in New Jersey. This cider has an almost smoky nose that adds pleasant complexity. It is dry with moderate tannins up front, followed by the slightest tease of effervescence that leaves a perceived sweetness. It tastes of clean earthy, stewed apple with a chamomile finish. We recommend serving lightly chilled.

Golden Russets are a classic traditional apple known for their golden-brown russeted skin and sweet, slightly nutty flavor. This delightful cider has a sweet apple nose with a hint of jasmine. It is light, crisp and smooth, and drinks like a white wine. Enjoy light tannins up front with a lingering baked apple flavor. We recommend serving lightly chilled.
