A unique taste experience!

We started the ranch in 2010 when we purchased seven acres backing up to the Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve in Julian, Calif.  The existing orchard needed significant restoration and we dug in to rejuvenate and expand the orchard area with a wide variety of apple trees, along with a few peach, pear and plum trees.  From 2013 to 2019, we sold our fruit at The Julian Apple Stand on Highway 78 in Wynola.  Open weekends during the fall season, we enjoyed offering the most delicious tree-ripened and hand-picked apples to our customers. After we acquired the adjacent property in 2018, we decided to close the farm stand at the end of the 2019 fall season and shifted our focus to opening Storum Ranch Cider & Wine.

We broke ground for the production building in spring 2020 and worked through the expected issues of construction and opening a new business compounded by the unexpected challenges of a pandemic and supply chain headaches.  Today the orchard boasts some 2500 apple trees in 60 different varieties, along with 700 grape vines, and our Tasting Room opened in November 2021.

We proudly feature traditional style Estate ciders made exclusively from our Julian orchard and wines made from San Diego county grapes. We also offer a wide selection of premium extra virgin olive oils and fine balsamic vinegars.  Our Tasting Room is open Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 11am to 5pm.
